Gifted Testing
Students in the public school system who
wish to enter the gifted program have only two choices: wait
as much as a year to be tested by a school psychologist, or
have the testing done privately.
There are many advantages to having a gifted evaluation done
at Koala: we use the Wechsler (the single, best measure of
intelligence available), appointments can be scheduled
quickly, the cost is very reasonable, the testing is done in
a special, nearly-soundproof room to minimize distractions,
and parents can watch on closed-circuit TV. A full review of
the data and conclusions is conducted with the family by a
licensed psychologist immediately afterward, and a complete written
report is provided for both you and the child's school, as well. Gifted testing is available for
